I created this website with the idea to index everything cs 1.6 related that typically gets lost over time & eventually had the idea to give users the ability to submit content but this website was never designed for that & would need a new website to obtain something like that
As many as you can see this website hasn't been updated in years actually & that is a result in having no time & the website needs to be revamped if this would ever be a community based type place
With that said, I haven't updated the website literally in years... people still visit this website regularly & the traffic has stayed consistent. 920 people registered in Feb alone out of 16272 users..."btw I have the website totally public, there is no need to register, but people still do" obviously this isn't godly impressive but it shows me people still have a high interest in obtaining information about this game & I have the time to do something with that potential
What do you guys feel about transferring this website to PHPBb3 or vbulletin? Basically add all the content to the forums, assign MODS & Admins & let people contribute freely. Basically CSGoodies would just be a forum with 1.6 content related stuff...
Thoughts?
This literally was an abandoned project but people still visit this website often, leave it be or make a change?
