Well this weapon is really funny to play with even though I am not the best famas user, in close range fighting I of course spray and you really need to aim at the head with this gun to since it’s pretty weak. Here comes the fun part, on middle and long distance you should always use the Burst mode and strafe a lot aiming for the head, its actually really easy with it on burst mode when you get used to it and can be very effective, just look at ins who’s better with famas then with the colt now a days! ;) so if you have a good aim and get in to the rhythm, this gun will be perfect for you! Its not much to learn about the recoil its very simple and you hardly have to move your hand while spraying with the famas.

Famas is an excellent weapon while in burst-fire, which will also work well outside of anti-eco rounds if you can't afford a colt with helmet. The technique for famas is basically the same as for Galil, use burst-fire and always aim for the head because if you manage to hit a burst with famas, they will either die or be very low, which allows you to finish them off with a random burst to the chest. Do not use automatic mode unless it's close range because the bullets might not register on mid/long range.

I use the famas almost always with the "Burst-mode" since it does like 3 shots in a really small radius which makes it really easy to take out one guy at a time with each burst if you aim good ;) try to seek positions pretty far away from your opponent which makes it easier for you to just run around and burst and force him to shot really slow and aim a lot or you can just spray and pray but spraying is not what I would recommend with it :)

Famas is my favorite weapon at the moment. I buy it a lot as CT especially on "long range positions". For example on Nuke yard I always use famas. Always use burst mode on famas except for really close combat action. On all other ranges I prefer burst mode and simply aim the head. It’s actually an amazing weapon when you get to learn the burst mode.

If you win the pistol round with no kills and your opponents get the bomb planted you should buy the famas instead of an mp5. Famas is really nice with burst mode on both long range and close combat. I really prefer the burst instead of single fire. Famas is really powerful and you can kill an opponent with 1 burst only if you get them in the head. Just make sure you aim for the head like all the other weapons :)
